Marcus Forss

Agreed, some moments he's unplayable, just glides into positions, really sharp. Forss could be one our players of the season.

Absolutely terrific movement. Also grafts. That's a bit suprising as most Brentford fans said he's 'just a finisher' and offers little else.

The price we paid and from what he's showing he's a potential bargain. The new Boro model is far better than spending multi millions on dross.

To think if Chris had his way we'd have Gayle and Mcgoldrick.
 
Doing really well and scoring when chuba didn’t…thought he done the best he could with being asked to play out of position.
Be interesting to see how the team shapes up for Birmingham
 
Under Carrick he has started 8 games, scored 3, assisted 3. That's a decent return. He's never previously been known for assists (just 3 in 74 games for Brentford) so he has either improved that aspect of his game or Carrick has him playing a different role.
I think it's clear that he will need to keep improving to stay in the side, especially if we sign a new striker but both of his last two goals were top drawer striker's finishes. His goal against Blackburn in particular was one he had no right to score; he completely surprised the keeper by taking it early with a very powerful, very accurate finish.
If you compare him to Akpom; Akpom is all about movement and anticipation to get into the right place and the right time then then tapping it in. Forss is all about the quality of the finish; from what I have seen before you can see why Brentford fans reckoned he was the best finisher at the club. If his movement and anticipation improves then he'll be lethal.
 
Was feeling his hammy on the way off the park, hopefully just a niggle. He’s still a young lad and the improvement and willingness to do what’s asked bodes very well. He’s a big lad as well!
