Marcus Browne

He's not allowed because he stayed on loan at Oxford for the playoffs.

Walker and Bola are both 'available'. I'm not sure why either don't make the bench as only picking 7 subs.

Many players, not just the Boro, when new players are settling in don't always hit the ground running, we don't know what we'll get from him one thing, what he's capable of at a higher level, IMHO, he's shown at Oxford he's got something we've lacked for a while, fingers crossed he has the time to come good at the Boro, though even if he doesn't work out here he's certainly not crap

He's not really is he

If the crap terminology was a tad harsh i'll put it this way. If we are to be challenging at the top end of the championship and in SG's eyes winning promotion he isn't good enough for us. He will probably carve out a half decent few years at a lower champo team or Oxford and the like before slipping down the leagues and into obscurity. Happy to be proved wrong but there is no chance of that.

cheers

I think Warnock will want to get a good look at him before he can make a decision. Unfortunately, there's not much time between the end of this season and the start of next. He has done well at Oxford now on two loan spells, I think he deserves another chance to show what he can do. Especially under an experience manager like NW. Hopefully he can nurture him a little and get the best out of him. Worth a shot I think!

That's fair enough, I hope he does prove to us that he has the temperament & ability to carve out a career at the Boro, reading about him signing he sounded so happy to be here, I know it's only words but a new team, struggling at that, area & a higher league, let's hope so anyway

I'd like to see him have a run in the side playing in central midfield, or as a no10. That's where he's played at Oxford.

He had those couple of back to back home games where he started out wide and was subbed off at half-time, and a couple of other appearances but still think we haven't seen enough of him to make a proper judgement.

Great minds think alike Parmoboy ;)

But even if he was available would you risk him in a pressure game?
He was booked and then got a straight red all within a few minutes at Swansea. He went for the player.

I dont think I would personally, but as I have said before I think Tav is ahead of him anyway. He probably needed a full pre season with experienced coaching, however we have such a quick turnaround this summer I am not sure how much of a changed character he will be.
