Managers don't last long regardless of club

Can't remember who (may have been Pep or Jose?) suggest that three years is about optimal, to deliver realistic objectives.

It's an unfortunate side effect of the money swilling round in the game these days - majority of sackings are results based and chair people are trigger happy when there's cash on the table, just like any other industry I guess.
 
you would think that clubs would change approach and try to keep some stability, as the vast majority of clubs will have achieved absolutely nothing changing manager all the time.. The ones who cope best are those that have a philosophy around recruitment and continuation. Sadly we continue to masively struggle on that front.

Similar to football managers, then. I can only think of Alex Ferguson. Even Arsene Wenger fell out with the fans.
