Of their former selves! Like "Sir Alex" would've taken an abject defeat like that! No way, think back to Southampton in the 90's, 6-3 defeat but they came out like proper overpaid spoilt, entitled whiny s**t's because: Southampton didn't let them win and the referee didn't disallow any goals and we couldn't see each others shirts cos it was Gary Neville's Mum's turn to wash the kits and she didn't use Radion and they said Roy Keane talks funny and he got really upset and they wouldn't let him hit them which made him swear and the Ref booked him for being a potty mouth and Matt Le Tissier kept kicking the ball funny, so should've been sent off and Francis Benali has a funny name and a moustache which isn't fair and they let more of their fans into the ground and we didn't like their pies and their fans kept cheering when they scored and made ours cry which is nasty and then made them wait at the end even though they have to get back to Surrey!

Instead they just looked a bit sorry and didn't throw tantrums! Light weights !

Ronaldo on 500k a week for 2 years is madness. An absolute vanity signing who's going to be more trouble than he's worth.

He's got goals and arguably kept Ole in a job. Yet he's undroppable and definitely going to be an issue longterm. I've heard people say he's an amazing free.... He's 50mi over 2 years with no resale value. Just a cash drain.

He’ll earn utd more in that time

The sacking of David moyes looks more and more premature with every passing day, Which I’ll admit I wasn’t a fan of the appointment I thought it was right to sack him. With hindsight I reckon he would have got them working

When the opportunity comes up to sign the joint best player in the world then you take it. Man Utd's problem isn't Ronaldo. It's the manager and the coaching staff he's surrounded himself with. They've also lost that "man utd way' of playing, quick counter attacking football.

As Roy Keane said the other week before the international break, why does he consistently play Fred and Mctominay, that ain't working. Why isn't he playing his Balon Dor shortlisted Dutch midfielder? Why isn't he playing one of the most promising, young English wingers we've seen in a long time? Why is his left back seemingly undroppable now after, I admit, a great Euro's? What happened to the young English keeper who was supposed to be the number 1 after he came back from his loan period at Sheffield Utd?

I get it, the board brought Ole back to steady a ship that was approaching implosion since Van Gaal left. He'd obviously get the fans onside having cult hero status and he was also incredibly cheap to pick up. But the shine has worn off and watching Ole's Utd now is like watching Ole's Cardiff but playing in red with far more talented players.

I can remember when Man Utd went a whole season without an away win, 1984-85 season i think,, but i can remember them veein a minus GD before, they will have, nice to see mind

They will become a Man Utd team before Fergie arrived, big name only, cup runs etc but not challenging the top spot
