The age old discussion
Hope I’m not jumping in wrongly with both feet just thinking when people generally talk about ‘terrorism’ it is related to colour/religion.

Let’s assume this is a dreadful act by a white middle class man from Nottingham - isn’t that still terrorism?

It was the same with the tragedy in Bournemouth when those people drowned.

The guessing started straight away around colour and religion of a perpetrator
I think it's more likely organised crime given the time of the morning it happened, but that's just an educated guess on my part.

They're not usually described as terrorism though, normally it's murder, assault, rape etc.
Yeah its only terrorism if its a brown person, muslim or a muslim sounding name involved otherwise its just perceived and described as an attack, murder, crime etc.

I’m sure what has happened today was terrifying for the victims involved and the witnesses

Not true. It is called terrorism if it is has political motivation.

I know everyone will be thinking it's terror related, but I have a feeling it isn't.

Still awful all the same.
Seems like a similar type of attack that’s often seen around Europe sadly. Two of the victims are students as well which suggests it’s completely random

Simply awful. The poor parents who sent their children off to Uni to never see them again. A parents worse nightmare. Totally devastating
