Mackems or Luton In the final!

Technically Sunderland the easier game but there would be a 'jinx' factor and mind games that could trip us up. Hope Luton smash them anyway.

I do not want to play against another team in blue at Wembley. if we are successful against Singers FC then it may well be us wearing blue at Wembley, if we are deemed the away team that is. It may be the change that breaks the curse…. Yes grasping at straws is the way forward
 
Rather play Sunderland decent team play good football but suit us more Luton would be much more difficult to beat if we did get there, but tbh don't care who we play just want to get there
 
Luton will beat Sunderland over 2 legs. Preference doesn't come in too it.

Why people think Sunderland would somehow be able to hoodoo its is a strange fan phenomona
 
If we get past the Sky Blues then Luton all day long. The dark arts and roughing up are always a potent weapon of "hard battling cloggers" which Luton fundamentally are. These would be negated to an extent by VAR in the final plus the big Wembley pitch suits our passing game more than theirs.
 
Would rather play Luton if we got to the final, I though we played really well in our last game against them, we dominated much of the game. I can't even imagine getting beat by them up the road.
 
I'd rather play Sunderland over two legs than in a one off, I'd prefer play Luton at Wembley as I think the big pitch will suit us better against them.

Let's see if we beat Coventry first and try and avoid doing a Sheffield Wednesday in the first leg, what a nightmare they've had there 😭
 
Luton to get a result. Sunderlands home form not that good and big crowd means pressure of expectation. A young team remember

Sunderland's home form would have them 16th in the table, and they've got no fit centre backs.

Luton should be winning the first leg, if not the whole tie.

But isn’t the point that we’d be favourites to win because we’d be favourites to win. So that’s better, not worse. You want to play the worse side as they’re easier to beat. Everything else is bs. And they’re the worse side. League table doesn’t lie, not that much anyway.
 
It will make the difference of whether we cross the Atlantic or stay home and watch.
I won’t be coming to Wembley to watch a Boro vs Sunderland Final.
