Luton 3 Up

We actually still had more points at this point in our last Premier League season.

Though they only need 7 points from the last 10 games to better our tally, our end of the season was horrific.
That’s interesting. Makes it even more appalling Gibson basically chucked in the towel by appointing Agnew.

It's not like we were doing well either.

We hadn't won since the 17th of December at that point, were winless in 11 games and had only scored 4 in that run and only taken the lead once (in a game we lost).

I just think it's funny that despite all that, we still had more points than Luton have now.

The Agnew appointment was truly baffling though.
We were only 3 points from safety when Karanka was sacked, with one of the best goal differences in the bottom half, and I think it was the first time we'd dropped in to the relegation zone all season.

I do think the league has got a lot harder for promoted teams these days. You’ve got the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle spending billions to be midtable!

Its been a running theme all season that the standard of play in the EPL and the gap is ever wider

It's been tough for years to stay up as a promoted team, this is is particularly obvious but then 2 of the promoted teams were pretty poor. It's been proved you can stay up and establish yourself but you have to have a really good plan, the right manager and crucially a bit of luck

Wow that Solanke goal, confused to as whether it is genuinely a brilliant goal or just dreadful defending.
Aye same for me but have come to the conclusion that as a supporter of the defending team you'd be disappointed if you let a goal in like that
