Looks like we're about to loan him out to Reading.

I have to say that I'm surprised he's going to another Championship club. (Do they not watch these players)!? 🤔

Thought he'd be dropping down a division.

I'll be looking forward to playing Reading now!
 
Given Reading's release list I think they're looking for anyone and anything at the moment.

That said, Nyland would look to be their first choice and I can't see Lumley getting a game ahead of him.

Think he signed a 2 year deal last summer? So if he goes on a season loan you'd think that's it.

Obviously we don't fancy him. Yet this way gets 25-50%+ of his wage payed.

You have seriously wonder what the reading 'scouting network' have taken from Lumley last season? The Reading fans are going crackers based on the Boro comments😂

I think that squad goes top six.. the midfield would be the best in the championship and the defence would be hard to beat.
Daniels was pretty reliable as I recall and as for our strikeforce.. Coburn is getting better and better, Watmore always delivers and we've got blunt force Uche to rattle any defence with Olusanya causing huge problems with his pace and strength.. unpredictable too. Apom started off well.. better then a few we've had (which isnt saying much)

Absolutely no chance, no goals or creativity in there, defence would probably be alright, but no cover at CB.

I know it is a Newy special list, but surely Coulson and Bola should be swapped?

I may have missed something but i don't recall seeing anything official about Lenihan signing as of yet?
Thus making us even thinner as a squad if the window was to shut now.

Don't you think Reading would be paying 100% of his wages? I'm not sure the deal would be (almost) done this early for only 25% of his wages paid.
