We'll no doubt get a fee, because he is under contract, his salary will have been covered on loan and there will have been a loan fee too.

Ah, then we agree on that one! An odd one, because he was bombed out of the Fulham team, but I suppose its not the first gamble we've taken with a player.

The most worrying thing about the Bettenelli saga was how long we persisted with him long after it was plainly obvious that he was simply not good enough. Even Jordan Archer was a better choice and it took a long time before we gave up on Bettenelli. Let's hope we have an honest competition between the keepers and may the safest pair of gloves win.
