I've got to take my hat off to Engel tonight for the performance he's put in. It would have been dead easy for him to go out and hide tonight but he never. He looked for space and demanded the ball when others looked for other players. He continued demanding the ball and created our goal through his determination and tenacity. This says a lot about the lad's character.

There are many on here who owe this lad an apology, including myself.

Delighted for him as after Sheff Wed I wondered what we were thinking signing him. Just shows anyone can have an off day. Showed great character to come back from that and get man of the match. He reminds me of George Friend the way he plays, similar style. Let's hope he's as good as George for years to come.

I thought the same.

I think a lot of people underestimate how hard it is to move to a new country, play in a new league and try and settle in a team off form. Very difficult to judge him in the circumstances.

Don't know where he goes from here.

The way he screamed on his own at the end of the goal celebration showed how much it has effected him mentally.

Why can’t people just applaud and be happy for the lad, there’s no need need for any “buts” or “maybes”. After the torrid time he had at Sheffield Wed and the dogs abuse he got after. there is clearly more of a man in him than some on here.
