Derbys away support is poor relative to their home support
Celtic had a very big following - 6000?
And it was only a friendly!
Forest always seem louder than Derby, even when Derby were boasting about taking the town for a couple of seasons.
Hednesford brought a few but weren’t loud.Everton for me but I'll also always remember Barrow bringing 8k -was it? - in the Cup even if they weren't all that loud.
I’ll never forget Boro singing Emerson while the Evertonians were singing Everton at Goodison. Emerson, looked up, puffed his chest out and ran through walls that day. Sure he thought the crowd were all singing for him.Non league/lower league clubs with freak away crowds are there for the day out, they have no idea what to sing or chant.
That Barrow trip was once in a lifetime for them and they were great.
Everton do sing their only song (with one word) louder than other fans who change the word to that same tune.
The Hednedford game is the correct answer, as they were the home team. They tried to take the game to Wolves but didn't think the crowd would be good. I think there was about 27k there, 5k from Hednesford, so 22,000 away fans. So we are certainly the loudest away fans at the Riverside.Hednesford brought a few but weren’t loud.
