One of these flew low and slow overhead earlier, what a beast.

I went to Kuwait on one of those in 2003, think I ended up sat in a land rover for most of the way

Seen quite a few of these recently too, Honey Badger I think it is.

Ha ha, I only know because I've seen (and more appropriately heard) them flying over a lot recently and they have a distinctive profile.

A knowledge derived from a combination of too much time on my hands and Google

Ideal to spot who has just buzzed over head at 11pm

All colour on my screen currently. I have seen some helicopters in grey but if you click them you still get their details.

Either on the deck or not transponding.

Saw a pair of A10s pass over Darlo on Saturday IIRC.

Never seen them up here before, very distinctive aeroplane.

I didn't think there was any A10s in the UK, unless they were passing through?

I know that there are/were A10s deployed to Estonia recently as I saw a video of them practising landing and taking off on highways in Estonia. Perhaps staging back to the states? Dunno but I'm pretty sure they were A10s the distinctive straight wings with the under wing mounting points and the tail and twin engines. Not aware of anything else that I might mistake for them?
