Lot of military planes around teesside today

Just looking on Flightradar.

Looks like training exercise. Either that or like you said.....Russkies taking an unnerving interest in the North York Moors and then off the North East coast.

The frequency of Russia incursions is becoming slightly irksome.
I know its a global game that all countries play but I do feel Russia are planning to branch out
I hope someone deals with putin internally pretty swiftly.

was driving along the a35 this afternoon, and some huge shadows whizzed across the road. then appeared overhead (obvs), from behind, three huge planes - really low, very close together & following the line of the road - what a sight, better than an airshow

Being an ex-RADAR bod, the Ruskies visited us on many a night shift, our friends in Scotland and the Shetlands were spending up to 8 hours controlling the fighters escorting the bears about. Was very little coverage back in the 80's due to the Official Secrets Act. It's all t*t for tat game and the both sides know the Rules of Engagement criteria.
