There was no BBC tv camera at the press conference - this season they share with Tyne Tees - it could be as part of the agreement that whoever provides the reporter/camera gets first go on tv.
Did anyone see if Boro was featured on Tyne Tees lunchtime.
Last week it was Look North reporter Gerry Jackson - no Tyne Tees - maybe it was a reverse situation of when it was screened.
All 3 clubs have press conferences early on a Friday morning.
