Long-distance season ticket holders

There used to be a guy who attended all our matches from Southampton I think, he was 'rewarded' by the club at some point.

Do we have anyone on here who is attending almost/all matches from upwards of, say, 150 miles away?

Not any longer, but me and Ms R travelled 186 miles (to our parking spot on Parliament Road) each way for 8 years.
Yes, there was a time when I was doing a 500 mile round trip for most home games (sometimes as a day trip), in my 20s, plus all the London away games. Its been under half that distance to home games since 2009 though.

there's a guy on twitter comes up from Shrewsbury quite a bit.

Also know a couple of Boro lads who do every home, away and also every England game home and away. the places they get to are unreal

Lovely guy is Roy. His stories of what he and Rob used to get up to when they were younger are legendary.
Roy travels with a group from the Home Counties - home and away - they are all over 70. Home and away season card holders. Roy is the only person I now know (apart from my dad) whose first Boro game was during WWII.
Roy was at every European game home and away. So, just imagine that from WWII to Eindhoven. And still going. From Dunstable. How amazing is that?

I guess he was born in Teesside etc?

Feels like the sort of effort the club should reward at some stage.

Yusuf is at most home games, can't remember not seeing him milling about the fan zone and then down the bottom of the South stand, if he's travelling up from London for every game thats good going.
Efforts like this should be rewarded, discounted ST or something but difficult for the club to police as people would be using family members who live far and wide as their new address! Perhaps a do at the end of the season with some of the players or something would be better for those who make considerable journeys for home games.

I sometimes find it hard to get myself down Marton road.
