Anyone know why the Hanger Lane Premier inn always seems cheaper than most others ?

Because Hangar Lane is a 40 minute tube ride away, and by a very busy gyratory traffic junction and an unpleasant area to boot.

Thats not so far away by tube. Central Line to White City is only 20 mins max.

There is little there except the interchange of the North Circular and A40/M40.

Just changed hotels due to advice on here in Kensington now.

Some one told me about a hotel next the East Croydon station. The hotel had a Morrisons I think on its ground floor. but was very close to EC station which has lots of quick trains into Victoria. He said it was £30 a night and fine that was about 10 years ago. He told me it was the best value in the London area. He set up and owned the rail ticket website and really knew his stuff about rail travel and bargains.
