I haven't got a clue on either, so top marks for getting CreweThink it was Crewe and not Man City, no idea what the reason was though
Dunno but at a guess it was in the Watney Cup.2) which was the first penalty shoot out in English football?
Who scored the first penalty in a shoot out and who was the first to miss?
Great that someone is taking over the job of doing a lock down footy quiz. We’ve done this before but under the present world circumstances I’m sure we can squeeze another one in . I’m quite confident this question ain’t been on here before .
1/ Which club’s fans invented the footy version of the song ‘ blue moon ‘ and what was it about ?
I haven’t stepped on anyone’s toes have I ? Whoops if I haveGreat that someone is taking over the job of doing a lock down footy quiz.
That's Tony Book, isn't it?I've been doing similar with some of the folks from work. This stumped a few..
Who was the player who was a bricklayer, didn't turn professional till he was 28, didn't sign for his final club till he was 32, but after that captained them to a league championship, FA cup, league cup and a European trophy?
Not me. Glad to see people are keeping themselves occupied during another difficult time.I haven’t stepped on anyone’s toes have I ? Whoops if I have
Sure is. I work with three absolute diehard City fans who didn't know it....That's Tony Book, isn't it?

It is a little strange this time. As I think the Spanish lock down on this occasion may be a little looser than the UK one. For example, we are able to go out and play golf.
Only on our local golf course that we can see from our terrace. As the boundary to our municipal area (a big town and our small town) is likely to be closed tomorrow.
In March-June last year I was walking up and down the stairs from our terrace to the communal garden. Pretending that I was playing on the course. Just wishing I could be out playing.
Agreed about the first lock down here.I envy the Spanish response first time round . I think we in the UK are feeling the effects of our ’ relaxed ‘ response to it . Very shrewd of the government to determine the covid virus urchins all packed up and went to the Arctic for a 5 day vacation over Crimbo . It afforded everyone to relax and have a knees up together .
