Anybody know what the deal is with the railings that have fallen over and what`s been done if anything in regards to reinstating them.

Been like it for about 6 months now and starting to become part of the bushes and trees the other side of the wall

Can`t be nice for the residents to look out on and the potential that someone could inadvertently hurt themselves on them as they, as stated above starting to become partially hidden

@TheLodger - I`ve popped you in here as you are a councillor although i am aware it`s not your area, but perhaps you can have a word if it`s in your power to do so

If you live there get in touch with your local councillor.

Where about on Ayresome Street is it? I'll ask the local councillors.

I complained during lockdown when the vandalism started.
I was put in touch with the then mayor, Andy Preston and local councillors. The councillors pressed it and found the wall and fence were the responsibility of the builder Barrett. And that is where the trail ended. Nothing happened. And in 2 years there is very little of that Barratt Homes wall and fence remaining standing.

That`s a shame

It can`t be left as it is surely
Even taking away the fallen railings would be a start

Been told that this is owned by a company called "Kingston Property management", sadly this company don't appear to want to do very much, and the council are in dispute with them, the local councillors are involved and everything is being done that can be, may have to be a court case sadly.

It's an absolute eye sore, but it has been like for for a while. It's disgraceful from whoever is in charge of it to just leave it like that. I'm sure if someone hurt themselves on the railings/walls then they'd be fixed tomorrow.
