Thank you for all that attended events yesterday.

We are on a break today but tomorrow is a big day. A first weekend without football so we have plenty of things for you to do.

Tomorrow - you can join the More Than A Run team in a heritage walk from Stewart Park to Ormesby Hall. Starting at 10.30am this includes free entry to Ormesby Hall and a vist to the Pennyman's Tea rooms. If the weather is anything like this afternoon then I would be grasping at this opportunity.

It is all free but a donation of around £3 would be appreciated.

You must book ahead - info@morethanarun.co.uk

Also, also, also.

Ever eaten a curry?
Silly question.
But have you ever wondered about the history of the dishes? Where did korma originate etc?

Khadim Hussain has experience from setting up a family restaurant in Linthorpe Road. He is a historian and a Boro poet and has published his own book on the subject Going For a Curry, which tells of the history of curry houses in Middlesbrough and Britain. If you thought it was a very recent thing then be prepared for a few surprises.
1pm - 2pm Dorman Museum - Free Event.
