Liz Truss is certifiable insane

How can the likes of Sunak really understand how the 'real" UK people feel, he, Truss and all those Tories are completely useless, have no empathy with the true suffering this winter will bring for people.
Even now people are having cold food rather than cook on a gas hob.
I'm extremely worried about people this winter, such a struggle for si many and the government are doing absolutely ZERO to make life any easier for people.
I write this with a heavy heart, I can see what's around the corner.

Yet people will still support them, I saw a comment about wishing Martin Lewis would stop painting Armageddon scenarios adding that while Costa is full they refuse to believe there is a cost of living crisis.

Lets not forget either that if Alex had stood for re-election he would be favourite to continue to be the PM. Let that sink in for a minute the biggest charlatan to ever hold the office of Prime Minister is still loved amongst the Conservative Party. If that doesn't persuade the rest of the country that we need rid of these people nothing will

Warm banks

Is their a more reprehensible state of affairs than this, it’s Dickensian.

For those lucky enough to not yet be familiar with the term, ‘warm banks’ are public places where people can go to keep warm in the winter, when they can’t afford to keep their heating on at home.

It’s a devastating reality that warm banks are needed in one of the world’s wealthiest countries. But this is now the case, as energy analysts predict bills will soar to around £3,582 in October — up from £1,971 today —before hitting £4,266 in January. All while energy companies record huge profits.

probably a tory misinformation stooge.

We are living in the age of misinformation people, time to regulate the internet to stop it being abused and misused for political gain with zero regulation to stop the crooks winning.

It just drives me insane the people actually type this rubbish out. I remember a time when the biggest threat on social media was an old girlfriend finding you on Friendsreunited🙈

Liz Truss would be a total disaster as Prime Minister, the continuation candidate of Johnsonism, who I'm certain still sees a way back to continue his Churchillian legacy.

Truss is a vacuous Thatcher cosplayer with no real political credo beyond self promotion, it says something about the state of the Conservative Party that people like her and Johnson, siblings in incompetence, buoyed by their unquenchable belief in their own exceptionality are anywhere near positions of power, I'm not a fan of Conservative policy but Tugendhat, Javid, Hunt and others have displayed competency and political dogma the fact that they've been overlooked is a big concern, Johnson failed as PM, Truss has none of the attributes, minerals or compunction to right those wrongs.

You could actually get people going to Wetherspoons all day, just buying that first refillable cup of coffee, so as not to be sat at home with the heating on.

Anyone still scared of socialism while at the same time getting absolutely screwed by increasingly unfettered capitalism (which is what's happening now) needs to go away and have a big rethink.

At this point it's like saying you'd rather stay in the room with the tiger because you're worried the room next door has a dog in it.
At this point it's like saying you'd rather stay in the room with the tiger because you're worried the room next door has a dog in it.

A fantastic summing up, but unfortunately opposition politicians are so out of touch they are unable to articulate the situation in such a concise way that your everyday knuckle dragging neanderthal can understand.
