Liverpool

If I was a Burnley fan, having to listen to that scouse fool Carragh it would do my box in.

First league home defeat in 68 games and nearly 4 years.

Massive result.

Liverpool have failed to win the last 5 league matches.

To a man Burnley were outstanding. Absolutely love Ashley Barnes. If we were to go up I would be allover signing him, definition of a Neil Warnock striker. Pope should start in goal at the Euros.

City for the title; said it when they were struggling. If they get a forward in at end of the season they'll continue to win.

Excellent result, I always knew they'd pull themselves away & out of the bottom 3

Cracking manager & club, to win at a ground who last tasted a defeat 4 years ago is one of the results of the season & now level with Newcastle 👍

Tarkowski should be in defence at the Euros personally

As good a team as Liverpool are, that result coming a few months after the stuffing by Villa must give real confidence to the teams above them. A title winning side wouldn't normally have two embarrassing games like that in one season.

It will be interesting to see how they go about strengthening too. If Man Utd win the league and Real Madrid sack Zidane, you'd presume that they would be spending and trying to attract the best of the best. And then there are the deep pockets of Man City too...

Pope was fantastic.

Surely deserves a run of starts for England in March.
Not heard much about Pickford for a while, so maybe his performances have recovered of late?

I've never heard anyone call Dyche a cracking manager, even their own fans. 😁

Amazing result. I know us Boro fans ain't Dyches biggest fans after a few promotion tussles and him usually moaning about our spending.

That said he's done a simply amazing job at Burnley. A tin pot club with a low budget. He's constantly got them punching well above were they should be. He's got a side mainly built with top end champo players.

I agree about Barnes a proper old school type forward who's role is to be a nusanse and rough up CBs.

I have a distinct dislike for Liverpool and more so Liverpool fans. So quite happy to see them slide👍. Also Klopp has shown his true colours with childish petulance in recent weeks.

I think he is Norman, what he's done at that club is amazing, he's comfortably kept them up each season in the PL, they rivalled us when going up out of the championship, they're streets ahead of us at present

Though I do believe they're a good fit for each other, one woukd struggle without the other

I'll certainly give you that.

Caught some of the second half, they looked awful, to be honest, and out of ideas. Half arsed.

Before Burnley won that penalty I expected them to get a goal eventually as Burnley tired .. but cracking result for them.

I didn't expect Liverpool to follow up this season with a second title after last season's brilliant showing .. a tough act to follow. I'd love to see Leicester win it this year. Can't believe Utd are where they are .. one minute it looked like Ole is having a nightmare, Pogba is on his way ... all seems rosy again and they're challenging for the title. Would be unreal to see Ole win it for them ... though I'd prefer Leicester as I said. I think City will pip it to be honest, though hopefully I'm wrong.

Footy is crackers in this Covid age. Unexpected results all over the place making it a little more entertaining though it would be far better to have the fans back again everywhere. Though I hope it sees the mighty Boro unexpectedly finish top six this season and do the unthinkable ..

Great result for Burnley though.
