Liverpool are "exploring the range of options available"

Have the substitutes walk parallel along the sidelines with loads of skipping ropes tied together?

Would create a trip hazard, but make the VAR decisions much more reliable.

For all the hate directed at Liverpool on here, it was an absolute robbery and the worst VAR decision I've ever seen. If that had happended to us we'd be absolutely foaming and rightly so.
What I didn't understand is that the commentators didn't seem to question it? I had the kids with me and I couldn't quite hear, so dunno if I missed something, but they seemed to be on VAR's side? I was sitting there perplexed as it looked completely onside other than his hand.

We've had plenty of decisions go against us, but you just get on with it, you don't "explore options" otherwise you open a huge pandoras box.

I assume Liverpool will also be seeking to right all those decisions that have gone for them too ?

All it proves is that VAR has solved precisely nothing. I'd happily scrap it tomorrow, even though the media have clearly been asked by the footballing authorities to try and get the public to support it more.

It's a not-very-veiled threat of legal action. They won't go through with it, but it's putting PGMOL on notice that they can't keep making fundamental mistakes and just issue an apology and draw a line under it.

It's exactly the sort of tactic Gibson would use.

I'm not arguing for VAR, as I think the way we use it in this country is horrific.

It was brought in to remedy "clear and obvious errors" yet we use it to assess whether a shoelace is playing someone on side, if that's the margin of error then it's not clear and obvious.

Exactly if there’s any retrospective action then football as we know it is gone.

Would this be an issue if it wasn’t Liverpool or other so called big club ??

I doubt it.

problem is that some of these "TOP" clubs think they have a God given right to Win. What they don't realise is that evry club lives with dodgey decisions week in, week out - and just get on with it

Agree with this, I think Gibson would be thinking the exact same thing.

PGMOL have made an admission of guilt, if Liverpool fail to win the title / qualify for the Champions League because of two points, they will now most likely try to take this case through CAS to seek compensation for the loss of revenue. Unfortunately, that's just where we are with football these days.

Exactly as It’s also not about making var work better for all either as it’s threatening var against Liverpool.

What options?! Officials got it wrong and so Liverpool's goal didn't stand. Not the first time this has happened and won't be the last. Reckon they just need to calm down :)
Absolutely. Clubs like Liverpool and Man Utd long benefitted from subconscious refereeing bias created by the pressure they put on the football authorities and officials.....and now they're at it again. At the same time smaller clubs complaints were laughed at and they were expected to 'suck it up'. At least with VAR the shyt is getting spread a bit more evenly.

Assuming of course no margin decisions go for Liverpool during the next 8 months....

That was the FA to blame, not Liverpool. I get you hate Liverpool, but at least try to be sensible about it.
I don’t hate anyone but my point was we were told to suck it up.

All this is about is threatening VAR to treat Liverpool different or face the consequences nothing else.

Are you a Teesside Liverpool fan then as we have loads
