Hope that rain stays off, great view across the valley.Off to Tow Law Town Vs Jarrow.
Not many more attractive settings for an evening match than Tow Law.
It was a great sunset around half time and a decent crowd for the second tier.View attachment 22551View attachment 22552View attachment 22551View attachment 22552
A couple of photos from last night's match - its fair to say that the weather really held off rather well. Tow Law Town 3, Jarrow 1 - in front of a crowd of 148.
Goodison is a great old ground.Nice one. I was hoping to continue my lower league groundhopping this weekend with a trip to Lower Breck FC in Liverpool (there all weekend for a beer festival).
As it is I was lucky to get a ticket at Goodison for their season opener against Saints. Another one to tick off the list and will be my first Premier League match in ages!
Surprised it wasn't snowing up there!Off to Tow Law Town Vs Jarrow.

Love the Northern League - you do a lot of families these days. I am off to Blyth Town vs Synners tonight - Blyth Town have only just come into the Northern League, so I havent been before either. It was a great sunset around half time and a decent crowd for the second tier.
Billingham Town beat Bishop Auckland 1-0 but it could very easily have been by 3 or 4. Crowd was 205. Nice to see so many families there.
I was about to say that too. 148 is a very decent number for division 2 football. It was a great sunset around half time and a decent crowd for the second tier.

Blyth Town had a weird spell a couple of years ago in Northern League (about 2017). Came into 2nd Div, got promoted to 1st Div, played about 3-4 games at start of season and then folded!Love the Northern League - you do a lot of families these days.
