Of course he isn't going to, there's no party machine behind him. If Labour win the next election his constituents may find their lot improving, not because of him and had a Labour MP been elected it wouldn't be because of them either.
 
Galloway always liked listening to him even if I didn’t agree with what he said as he genuinely spoke with intelligence.

The last 48 been less than impressed with his odd performances in front of the cameras he has just started to look and sound odd.
 
Gorgeous George will always divide the crowd, that's basically his shtick. This is quite a balanced view - from being on the right side of history over the Iraq War to his repulsive comments about his opponent in Bradford.

Can't be bothered viewing that but does he mention there's absolutely no chance of Russia invading Ukraine? Or where he tells a member of the Bradford public that he couldn't give a fcuk about his constituents?

It's balanced is what I would say, including his employment by the Russian State. I can't force you to watch it, but can't be arsed to transcribe it either.

It is very balanced.
 
His performance in front of Saddam was cringeworthy.
His persona now means that any message is lost whilst hating the messenger. Narcissist
 
He's a complex character for sure, I agree with his standpoint on a lot of things and actually found little to disagree with in that interview.

But I also think he's a chancer, driven by self promotion and I'm not convinced how much is driven by conscience these days.

Like most who operate within the extreme political margins their lack of balance inevitably makes them a threat to a fair and balanced democracy.
 
I don't agree with everything he says by any means and he blocked me on twitter ages ago but I think it will be refreshing to have someone on the scene (even if it's only until the GE) who won't cowed when talking about the Middle East.
