Liam Gallagher to play Knebworth next summer

Not sure how to feel about this.

Feel like he should leave it alone really because of the Oasis legacy, but then I'm also tempted to get tickets.

Possibly they may fill it as he won’t be the only act on the bill at Knebworth. Kasabian and Michael Kiwanuka also lined up plus more to be announced. Caught his set at Glastonbury in 2018. Not for me.
 
I am of the same opinion he should leave it alone. Obviously will make him a few quid but it just kinda taints the legacy as you say. He should wait another decade and cash in on the Oasis reunion Noel has planned for the same place :ROFLMAO:
 
I'm sure he'll appeal to plenty.

'79 was my last trip to Knebworth, Led Zeppelin headlined, supported by a variety of genres, Southside Jonny and the Asbury Jukes playing rock and roll, Fairport Convention and their folk/rock as well as Chas and Dave with their pub offering. All went down a storm, particularly the latter.

Noel won't be doing anything but cringing I'd imagine. Liam's heart's in the right place but this kinda knacks any chance of an Oasis reunion to me. I'm not particularly fond of either Liam or Noel's music, yet seeing Oasis as a band again would be quality .. but only at the right time, which I'm sure is something that Noel would have been eyeing up down the line.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Noel had envisaged the Oasis reunion gig being at Knebworth.

Defo, mate. He knows what it could do to his bank account, Liam just had to be patient.

I can't stand Noel's own band, not particularly fussed by anything Liam writes, though can't fault his enthusiasm ..

An Oasis reunion at Knebworth in 2030 over a few nights is something I was fully expecting to happen :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
 
I thought Oasis' set at Wembley was a better show all round. That's not to take anything away from the Knebworth show though.
 
I know I really shouldn't comment on this as I have nothing positive to add, so apologies in advance, but I wouldn't go to the end of my street to see/hear monkey boy. Sorry.
