I know not the best audience on here but went to Sheffield last night and it was amazing!!!

The number of teenage kids there shows how much this band is still adored 30 years down the line and I must have bumped in to my 18 year old self at least a dozen times!!!

Passing interest from me. I saw on SM that a lady called Fiona Brice is in Liam's band. She's an amazing violinist and I saw her play with David J a few years ago in Spain when he was supporting The Psychedelic Furs.

The set list looks great, D’yer Wanna Be a Spaceman has always been a favourite of mine.
Set list was amazing, D’yer wanna be a spaceman, Cloudburst and I Will Believe amongst my highlights.

The best bit though was sharing it with my 15 year old son who was just in awe the whole time and hasn’t stopped smiling since about 9pm last night!!!

I was there too - it was fantastic!! Brought back lots of memories from my yoof!!

im at james arthur on saturday (mrs choose that one!) and then gallagher on sunday 16th! i was worried after seeing Liam and John Squire about what this tour would be like but looking at the setlist and the videos that i have seen I cannot wait! hopefully Liam's voice holds up for the full tour!

What a night last night. Say what you like about him and Oasis but there's really nothing like a few beers and a trip down memory lane with mates you've had for the last 30yrs. Absolutely loved it. Not sure how Liam sounded mind you as hard to hear him over the 15,000 people singing every word. But then it wasn't really about the performance, it was about the memories, the friendship and bonds you made as teenagers drinking cans down the park and listening to DM and the collective experience of 15,000 people feeling exactly the same. As much as I love seeing a new band in a small venue I do also love those mass singalongs of a huge crowd.

Encountered Oasis back in the day when they were starting out. Noel was nailed on knowing what he was doing, Liam was an utter wa**er!

I saw him on Saturday and had a similar experience, the atmosphere was absolutely electric. Singing the old songs like Bring it on down and Columbia suit his voice perfectly and he sounded like Liam of the 90s to me.

I don't think Oasis' music has aged as well as other music from that era but let's be honest it isn't music that you sit and analyse the beautiful lyrics or musical arrangements. It's music that you sing along with your mates to when you've had a drink and in that setting its brilliant.

I've saw 100s of bands over the years but not many can produce the raw energy that Liam/Oasis can. The crowds always seem louder at these gigs as well.

I can’t wait to see I Will Believe and Cloudburst. The wife won’t have a clue.
Missed I Will Believe cos of the ridiculous queues at the bar. Not happy. Fade Away and Bring it on Down were great to hear live. Still gutted he didn't play Listen Up though. Not sure why that one didn't make the cut
