It could work in Derby’s favour getting half decent prem players if first team starts are guaranteed. Clearly derby will probably get the best possible deal given they can’t spend . Obviously they question remains where they can put a good enough team together to get them to January.
Mclaren is going to be busy ( I know I should be saying Rooney but let’s face it mclaren will be right amongst this )

Or afford to pay the best loanees!
 
I doubt any ambitious young player with a hint of sense is going to consider Derby this season. They are an absolute basket case and squadwise they look absolutely threadbare and in serious trouble before a ball is kicked.
 
Surely crooks wouldn’t even be on that list then you ask yourself do we develope players we own like coburn or other clubs players ?
If we’d managed to bring in a good left sided forward we could of had jones right now who is the star of the season for us .
 
I think Crooks has only been leading the line as we haven't had anyone else if Uche is out. Doubt we'll see him there much in future.

Preference for me would be getting the best 11 out on the field now. If that means prioritising loans over our own prospects, so be it.

Coburn has not even started his development yet. Hopefully he will become a good player for us but he has a long long way to go. And as of yet I am not sure he will be on the bench next game with our last minute signings.

To give him his proper name - and not being disrespectful which you are being -strikers is the weakest part of Warnocks judgement.
