Point of loaning a player out with a year left? I'm slightly baffled. He has a blinder and leaves with a pick of clubs wanting him.

I'm not sure what we 'gain' other than a year of the wages? We may as well sell him for 250k (or anything).

I can see him scoring a few goals in league 1. A shoot on sight policy will work. Imagine he scores 15 goals and his contract expires.... Again we get nothing. Strange

Brilliant corner for Iorfa's header. His set piece delivery caught the eye throughout. Showed some lovely touches. A very encouraging outing.

Hopefully get him back next season.

NW said tonight Wing's contract has been extended for 1 year, so he is still rated at the Boro. Which to me is good news.

Tonight was a massive wake up call. NW must have better players coming in , York out played us, more energy, and skill.
Their no10 and no7 did well.
Patterson did nothing to suggest he will get a contract.
Defensively we were poor.
Dijksteel was poor , and a weak link.
Early days, but lots of questions being asked.
A big lump bullied us, what next , sign him on?
