Energy prices coming down any meaningful amount will take a miracle. It's usually pretty well forecasted 1 year in advance. A very mild winter might reduce it a little and a very harsh one and geopolitical instability might make it rise a lot bit for the most part prices are forecast to be high until the end of the decade which may mean a slow taper eg £100 only so drop

The article I read talked about the potential feelgood factor (its all relative) of milder spring weather and, therefore, reduced spend on energy.
