I can see him staying at Hull next season. Make or break.I agree that he seems one mixed up bloke, to what degree is self inflicted only he knows, but i’d say pretty much most of it. Do I feel sorry for him, only in the way i feel sorry for anyone who struggles with everyday life, but the lad has had opportunity after opportunity at Brighton, Luton, Boro, Venezia and Hull and struggled to deliver on his alleged talent. His lucrative contract at Brighton runs out in June 2024, I can see him being released and struggling to find a club tbh. Injuries, attitude, application and lifestyle all seem to have played there part.
He is 23 now and seems to lack the discipline, commitment and attitude needed to make it. When at Brighton when he first burst onto the scene he was highly thought of, however, since those days he has had 4 loans and only 30 appearances and 4 goals, 2 of which at Boro were deflections in reality and owed something to lady luck. How Wilder selected him to start over Balogun is beyond fathoming.
I hope he can sort himself out mind as time is ticking, I wish him no ill will.
Cracking agent to get him that Brighton contract!I agree that he seems one mixed up bloke, to what degree is self inflicted only he knows, but i’d say pretty much most of it. He admitted it afterwards, said the crowd applauding him before the game was like having a hyperdermic needle that extracted all of his energycan remember Rippers coming back with Blackburn not log after he left and couldnt kick a ball... the occasion got to him and I am sure he got subbed after a few poor controls
