Yes plenty of negatives mainly involving those in black, but let’s forget about that and look at the one big positive and that was MORSY.

I thought he was brilliant yesterday a real
Enforcer who put his stamp the game and great strike for the goal as well.

Thoroughly deserved the MOTM for me
 
Morsy played really well as he did in the couple of games prior to being benched. Don't agree with bear66 on Howson. Think he has not been as good since he came back from injury. Saville was non-existent in first half but a little better in the second. You can see why he plays McNair at the back as he is bang average when he steps up into midfield. Its an area we desperately need sorting in the close season but how many years have we been saying that.
 
Good to see 'one of our own' playing so well. (ie, on our books, not loan).
TBH I thought this thread was going to be about how refreshing it was seeing us taking the game to the opposition.
Also, signs of a 'siege mentality' that will hopefully be the catalyst of a great 2021/22 season.

We beat a top two side convincingly.. with Tav and Fletcher still out.

He's looking like the player we thought we had when we signed him. Quality.

Key signings next year Kebano, Bolasie, CF, CAM, Fletcher.

Get the rest of the dross out and we could be up there.

Cracking signing, even when he's not at his best he's letting the opposition know he's there, a vital member of our team
 
I'd been against us signing Bolasie, but if he carries on like he has then I'd love us to sign him on a year long deal in the summer.
