I think the question would be who would be better over a full season ? It’s debatable if samba could do a full season hence why we have our new recruit .

Although a bit unfair on sol as fitness was always going to be his issue.

Based on his performances for Blackburn last season, yes, without a doubt.

Peltier was steady, Bamba was sublime for 95% of the game but had an absolute rick in his locker almost every other game.

Lenihan was one of the best CBs in the league last season.

Lenihan was the 2nd best defender in the championship last season - listed in "sky sports team of the year". He's played almost every single game for 3 years and captained a team that finished 1 point behind us...

I loved Bamba and he worked his socks off, but he was a squad filler.
