Lenihan sounds like a worry

It's a shame if Lenihan is injured. He's looking really good after a slowish start. I have faith that a fully fit Clarke can step in - definitely better option than buying in - Defensive partnerships take a while to develop

Yep. I think Clarke could end being very popular. Player of the year at two different clubs and think he's been captain before too? Shame he's not quite ready yet as would be a natural replacement potentially.

That said hopefully Lenihen injury isn't too serious anyway.
 
our defensive back ups have been a worry.. barking back to our season back in the prem.
injuries to key defenders certainly derailed Warnock’s playoff hopes and ultimately Cody him his job.
 
Are we going to be told where you heard it from that he’s out for the season?

Seems hard to believe that the lad only reported the injury on Friday, according to Carrick, and now it’s being leaked that he’s out for the season on Sunday.

Jack Hannah is probably the closest but I doubt he is ready yet. Sykes hasn't been seen all season so assume he is injured. Like you say Bilongo has played CB but only in a 3 (also Gitau).

We would need some cover if Lenihan was out.

I like the look of Jack Hannah! Seen him a couple of times now.

Cashin is too small at 1.84m IMO , Caleb Taylor is on loan from WBA so doubt they would sell him .
If we need a CH I expect MC to raid manure for either
Dishon Bernard
Teden Mengi
Or an alternative such as
Ryan Porteus
Joel Felix
 
Have people on here forgot how bad a defender Clarke is with his run in the team under wilder & after yesterday there will be a big clearout & i hope he is one of them.

I like the look of Eiran Cashin at 6’0
Ronnie Edwards from Peterborough is 5’11 and attracting attention from premier league clubs..
