I don't see how Ipswich can be close to breaching FFP limits, so they should be able to spend freely over the summer should they wish to do so.

Not that spending big guarantees anything, but the club valuation of £262.5m is that of a Premier League club, not a Championship one. This investment of up to £105m is clearly aimed at achieving PL status or maintaining it should they go up this season.

Freely, no, spend, probably. However with a large number of players needing contract negotiations, a good chunk of their ffp allowance will be eaten up.

Club valuation is absolutely irrelevant also with regards to ffp allowance. Their revenue for the previous two seasons to this will not have been great. Commercial activity, tv revenue will have been really low outside of the champo
