Leeds United v Leicester City

The commentators have just said the opposite to what you are saying

The commentators that Rav was just calling clueless 😂

This is directly from the offside law:

"A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately played* the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent. "

It has to have been considered to be deliberately played to negate the attacker's offside position.

You can consider the Leeds player chesting the ball as deliberate play, in which case he's not offside, but just because it's touched a defender doesn't mean it's not offside.

Only if it is a deflection.

This was not a deflection it was a second forward movement.

I've just linked the law, it describes exactly what is and isn't considered deliberate play.

It's not only deflections, and even if it was, you were still wrong to begin with.

I'm not saying the Leicester goal was offside, it wasn't, I'm saying that the ball touching a defender doesn't automatically mean you're not offside like you claimed.
