Leeds to beat Stoke tonight

I haven't spouted vitriol, I have quoted facts about Fletcher and Assombolonga.
The facts speak for themselves.

You've called him a fanny repeatedly on this page.
That is vitriol.

You'll get no argument from me on needing to move on Assombalonga, and it's fair enough that you don't rate Fletcher, but I disagree with your opinion on him.
He's not the same as he ever was, he's improved a great deal since we signed him.

But I suppose we all get players who put a bee in our bonnets. I can't stand Ronaldo or Braithwaite.

I must say Indeedido that rant was a bit strong, fair enough you don’t rate him but that seemed almost personal. We aren’t going to change your opinion on him that’s clear, but you also won’t change my opinion on him. I rate him and want him to stay as he could be a big player for us next season under Warnock. He is a good finisher. And he isn’t a fanny.

Also, if Fletcher is a fanny what does that make Bamford who you idolise? He dives more than most players in this league. At least Fletcher is an honest player.

I posted a series of facts about where he stands against other forwards in this league.
I made some observations about him and called him a fanny (he is).
It is hardly a personal assault. A fanny? really?

I am sick of the awful squad we have, that have cost a fortune, get paid a fortune and have performed pathetically.
Just because Fletcher scores a header at Stoke, keeps his nerve to slip a ball to the unmarked Assombolonga and scores a penalty at Millwall doesn't wipe out for me the horrendous value for money he represents.
He is not alone, he is not the worst in that respect; but please don't start making him something he simply isn't.

I don't like Bamford's diving, I think it is beneath him and he has let himself down a few times with it.
He is however Boro's best striker since Viduka and joint top goalscorer in a season since Ravenelli.
He is also on a completely different level to Fletcher.

Let me remind you I complimented Fletcher for his performance at Millwall in my first post on this thread and on the match thread itself.

I have strong opinions about my club and make no apologies for that. None at all.

Tbh I find it pointless listing his good attributes because you just reply listing what you hate about him and make out he’s some northern league level footballer. Best off just agreeing to disagree cos I rate him and you don’t.
I think he will be here next season for the record and if he is, I’m sure you will see another improvement.

I've never mentioned or implied Northern League.
I think he is a poor Championship striker or a League 1 striker who is paid to be an awful lot better.

I only post facts

Fletcher is an absolute fanny’

That is what I actually posted Gaz, but not at all surprised you would mis-quote.

Did you not see Bamford play yesterday?
He is a different league to Fletcher - and will be formally in a couple of weeks.

And I've got issues hopeless....

Not convinced at all Bamford will score goals in the PL. In fact I am pretty sure that if Leeds have to rely on him as their main striker they will struggle.

I can't see Bamford having what it takes to score goals in the PL.

He's hardly been great this season in the best team in the league.

I read only last week he's missed the most chances of anyone in the division.

A few Leeds fans who I speak to can't wait to get shot of him because of his lack of finishing.

His record of goals per minutes player is actually worse than Hugill's this season!!

I can see Leeds binning him, especially if they have real hopes of staying up.

That is fair enough cardiff, he hasn't scored them there yet; but he will be there and have played a major part in getting them there.

I can see Bamford at somewhere like Villa next season.
Maybe, but I think Leeds will bring in another striker and they will need 2 for the PL, though Bielsa will only play one at a time.
Sadly I think they will do alright and he will stay there, even as back up striker coming from the bench.
