We went in the Old Peacock before one game in the McClaren era, cant remember how or why but it would usually be arranged with the landlord before hand. Didn't have any bother.

Although I haven't been for a few years, even in the city centre you need to be a bit careful. Avoid round the station, especially The Scarborough pub from memory.

Drink in Leeds occasionally (Meet up with a mate) between the Merrion and St John’s shopping Centre seem alright at weekends. Loads of pubs there

The Scarborough near station is most definitely one to avoid as away fan on match day.
