It's all nonsense, isn't it? It's nothing but people believing something else is responsible for their own actions/inactions and a lack of understanding of probability. I have a car, house, could buy gold/silver if I wanted. It's not because of some spiritual book. It's because we live in a society that allows that with a bit of hard work and the right circumstances. This sort of nonsense always falls down, same as religion, when you realise that there are millions of people suffering, praying, manifesting and getting nothing in return for it. People haven't tapped into any stream of energy, they have just been fortunate enough to achieve certain things due to their circumstances and then attributed that to their belief system.
And yes, having to pay a £120 fine and then winning £120 is coincidence.
I have no idea who Neville Goddard is but I can see on wikipedia that he wrote a lot of books. Sounds like he "manifested" himself a load of cash by selling snake oil to people that want to believe it and he died a very rich man. Sounds like a similar story to L. Ron Hubbard.
If people believe it is true and it's not harming anyone then there is no problem in people believing whatever they want.
There is genuine science about how physical actions are affected by mental actions. It is undeniable that being confident can benefit performance etc. Something easily seen in individual sports like Golf where having a mindset of making the putt instead of not missing the putt increases the chance of making the putt. The best players are the ones that can physically and mentally perform the best under the pressure but there is no cosmic energy involved.
