The end of an era but not the way we were hoping for in a first ever league double for Brentford over Boro in the final season at Griffin Park. My match report makes no excuses for romancing about the final stand for Boro fans nor does it make excuses for the late, late defeat. But it does recognise that all present stayed to applaud the players off the field.
