Any advice on the best to use. My AVG is due for renewal and is costing too much. Looked at a few but undecided.

I use the Bitdefender suite - but to be honest it comes as an add-on with the Bitdefender BOX Firewall I purchased. I've done a lot of consultancy work from home and we have a load of Internet of Things (IOT) devices, so I wanted a good edge and internal security platform. Cost me £80 per year for I think 50 licenses with the Firewall. Been a solid purchase and has discovered and dealt with a few things that I'd linkely not known about (one was daughters Laptop infected with malware after University - another was a guest's phone [guest WiFi] that was polling out to some weird network that was Russian based)
 
Thanks for the advice. I am looking at Bitdefender at the mo. It's on offer at £21 down from £69:99 but covers everything. The AVG is good but are constantly after more money for further protection even though I am paying enough for it, hence looking at something new. How is Bitdefender downloaded !!
 
I wouldn't run them both at the same time...seen some clashes where they identify each other through the signatures etc...deinstall one and run the other, if you wanted to go back make sure you keep the license key
 
I prefer to just use the free microsoft security, and dont do anything silly with the compooter. I see more problems caused by invasive av software than they appear to solve.

Thought that would be the case. My AVG runs out in a few weeks so may as well wait and cancel near the time.
