We knew Root wasn't available for this match, Balance is injured, but Malan and Bairstow were supposed to be available, don't know the reason they aren't there, but what's the point of their contracts if they're never going to play.

Don't expect Bairstow for a while in Yorkshire colours. Probably play more for his Welsh team than Yorks this year.
