Lampard first sacking?

I thought that under the circumstances (no Mina, Calvert-Lewin, Gomes) Everton did ok today. Actually they should have had a point at least. I can’t see Lamps getting sacked anytime soon as he’s just kept them up.

Baffled as to how he got so many top jobs with absolute no managerial apprenticship of note...............jobs for the boys, Gerrerd was not much different, he got a lucky Job were it was basically
impossible to finish lower than 2nd even though he still managed it in his first year, and then got a job with villa on the back of 1 title in 3 years in a two horse race league
At least Gerrard spent a year figuring stuff out in the youth set-up at Liverpool. I don’t think his uncle rang Rangers up and got him a job, like Redknapp did with Lampard and Derby.

Lampard is now doing his learning at the top level and is exposed. A lot of managers now are actually coaches and elite-level coaching almost an industry of its own. It’s own discipline. I think Lampard is out of his depth TBH.

Though I do think Ten Hag or Hassenhuttl will be up there when it comes to the first managers in the firing line.

Ten Haag has come from a league where at least 75% of the opposition were just cannon fodder on a par with average SPL sides

Anytime Ajax lost a game and maybe a little confidence, the next game was usually up against some sub standard dutch ***** and they racked up a cricket score

He won't get a single easy game like that in the premier league, not one
