You may be right but so what? If that was the case they still wouldn't have gone back and started enacting policies from the 1997 manifesto. They'd moved right while in office (as all British governments do).

I don’t agree -

hospitals built
schools built
minimum wage brought in
a strong NHS
a fair welfare state
low unemployment

It‘s a fallacy that we live in a right wing country.

It‘s because Labour exists at all that we have state health, education and welfare but we should never be complacent and naval gazing about how the left of centre politicians should be doing this, that and the other.

The primary aim should always be to ensure we get a Labour government to preserve the general rights and benefits of ordinary people that have been fought for over the years.
