35 DAYS, 23 HOURS, 3 MINUTES until the end of the transfer window. Why didn’t they make it before the season started? All clubs fans are going into meltdown already.

So they should change the main summer transfer window just to stop fans having meltdowns? That won’t solve all the issues like teams not wanting to release players until there own business is done, also that won’t stop players suddenly wanting to move to the south coast for premiership wages 3 days before the season starts.

Sometimes you win in the market and sometimes you lose, see how we look at the close of play, getting agitated 35 days before it closes is ridiculous, thank god your not in charge at the negotiating table. Patience is a virtue
 
Things like post season internationals, often tournements, players and staff going on holidays, pre season tours, there’s many things to factor in, they don’t just keep it open until September for no reason at all.

i broadly agree with a closure date around kick offs - but the world dont all kick off at the same time - and its a global transfer market.

we start this weekend, the prem not for a week later broadly in keeping with the major european 'premiership' leagues - how do you put a date on it ? - i just dont get why fans get all hot and bothered about it - its a meat market, footballers get bought and sold - even the really good ones!

More like its reflective of a sport people love which is an important part of their lives being ran and ruined by dummies for a **** world Cup in Qatar. Trauma for dummies, what an idiotic statement.

They did.

No other European leagues followed suit and the Premier League felt it left them at a massive disadvantage, so they moved it back.
