Just stop oil at the rugby today

I think you've fallen for the over exaggerated reports and propaganda in the right wing press, which is pretty much the norm for this country.

People may have been an hour late for work but they'll have had chance to make it up, don't worry about that. Without hours on their timesheet their company wouldn't have been paid.
I haven’t fallen for any propaganda at all, I know exactly what it’s like to work zero hour contracts, bar/shop work. If you can’t turn up you don’t get paid. It’s really that simple. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to make up hours. Ultimately they will be causing lots of people to loose many hours work through no fault of their own

You are using the anti protest legislation as an argument they should stop what they are doing.
They are bringing in legislation to remove refugees. Using your logic Blame the refugees.

You are using the language of government ministers - yet they haven’t achieved anything with you.
Ok - from your own knowledge - how many people, how many hours and how much have they lost.
I’m pointing out the only thing they are achieving is giving the government the public support to further restrict protests

I don’t care what language the government are using because that isn’t going to influence my opinion, but it doesn’t take a genius to work out people will be unexpectedly loosing out on working hours if you completely block the busiest roads at rush hour. Many people are self employed/on zero hour contracts so they don’t work they don’t get paid. Not sure how anyone can find this acceptable

How green is the Chelsea Flower show?
How do the competitors get all the flowers to bloom at exactly the right time?
How do the exhibits get to the site and what happens to them afterwards?
That's a good question. I assume it's more green than the BP headquarters

Posh, who mentioned posh?

Proven wrong, by who, an ignorant remark about Sale's voting habits isn't proof, just a confirmation of your cluelessness.

The crowd at Twickenham is predominantly one of Tory voters. Perhaps you didn't notice, maybe you knock about with a few Lib Dems, even the occasional sneaky Labour voter.

As for ignorance, look no further than that mirror.
The Tory voting thing has no basis in reality. I know it's hard for people like you to have their prejudices corrected so I apologise for pointing out that one of the teams comes from a largely labour area. I kind of pity you that your so blinded by class hatred you have to make things up but it's fine. Some people need that chip on their shoulder

Isn’t graham Brady the mp for sale?

You obviously missed the 1922 Committee connection. Possibly you don't know who the MP for the 'largely labour area' is.

Plenty of mancs in the audience. Again I know because I was there. Shame corcs has let ignorace drive his prejudice
I have no idea the Tory/other split at the game.

I did used to live in Edgeley though. I can tell you that of those who took over my local every few weeks, loudly instructing the landlord to turn off the football (being watched by the regular punters), and parking their 4x4s anywhere they felt like (irrespective of disruption to others funnily enough), you could count Labour voters on one hand.

A hand that had had each finger surgically removed.

That's nice dear. You do realise Sale play in Salford don't you?

But no Nate, you crack on with the class warfare. Right people bad. Boo his. It makes you look small ignorant and petty but if it also makes you happy then fine.

So, back to the environment ? Bit of a mess isn't it

Not when I lived in Edgeley they didn't dear, so not sure what their current location has to do with my comment.

Oh, and Right Wing people...given the state of the country, then yes, those who voted Tory, very bad indeed. Thanks for the mess you've left us all in, whoever you may be.

According to you and Corcs Rugby fans I guess!!

But yes Sale play in Salford. Happy to correct your misunderstanding

This is getting daft
You can not extrapolate that those Sale fans at are non Tory's because Manchester has lots of Labour voters.
Are you just digging in for an argument?

Correct what misunderstanding? That Sale played at Edgeley Park when I lived round the corner from the ground, and that that is where I encountered numerous members of their fan base?

I'm really not sure sure what you are blathering on about.

No. I’m trying to get the topic back on track and fight of the class warriors whose prejudice leads them to believe that “the majority of rugby fans are Tories”
They KNOW this is an insult and they know there are rugby fans on here. I don’t get why you would derail a thread like that. But then again I know some people on here love the class warrior stuff. I just rail against it because I don’t like the prejudice it entails.

Also I would say my extrapolation that the majority of fans of a team in Manchester are story voters is significantly more accurate than saying the majority of domestic rugby fans are Tories.
