Wasn't the general consensus that we deliberately avoided beating Brighton on the last day of 14/15 so that we would avoid Ipswich in the semis?

Just thinking on this. Would it be a boost though if the players knew they weren’t trying their hardest? And could it actually lure Cov into a false sense of security?
