Remnants from modern times can count as archaeological sites. This photograph, taken today of the Swallow Hotel in Stockton, shows quite clearly that Juninho Paulista of Middlesbrough Football Club once stayed here and recorded his sojourn with these beautiful ‘UTB‘ murals on the walls of this once esteemed establishment. Perhaps further demolition work should be suspended until these amazing drawings are checked for provenance and authenticity.
