Joshua Pulev

Except he didn’t use a persons mental health illness, he questioned whether a message board was the right place for someone who can’t handle it if someone disagrees with them, however after the patronising and condescending attitude of scuba I think he had very right to, for scuba to then play the victim and go on about gaslighting is quite frankly a disgrace, their was one instigator here, yes Mart probably went abit far in defending himself but scuba started the personal insults and was clearly attempting to bully and belittle and then threw a strop when he was Called out on it.

For what it’s worth ( not much) I think BM and scuba are both good posters on the board and we all sometimes lose our head a bit in debates on here especially when they turn personal. Sure yous will kiss and make up 👍.

ps I can’t wait for Joshua vs Fury if it ever happens!

I've got no beef with Scuba, we both got wound up with each other, I just want to debate the most exciting period in HW boxing since Lennox was in his pomp

Fair enough. I am sorry then if I have interpreted your post wrong, I maybe seen the word mental health and took it the wrong way but I can see how that can be misunderstood. I also think scuba knows he could of debated the situation better but I shouldn’t be coming on here acting like the voice of reason given I have done the exact same and probably will do again.

Watched the fight back a couple of times and I suppose Joshua was a bit hesitant. Against Fury he'll have to be more aggressive and really put it on him. Joshua will have to fight his own fight and concentrate on his own strengths. He's a much better puncher than Fury in both terms of single shots and combinations. It will be a mistake if Joshua tries to move around the ring with Fury and tries to box with him. That's the mistake Klitschko made and he never got in the fight. A big thing in Fury's favour is the mental aspect, he is much stronger than Joshua. It will be a fascinating contest if it happens. Wouldn't be that keen on straight rematch though. I'd rather see the winner in against Usyk. Just to note, Usyk beats both of them.

I wasn't impressed by Usyk's last outing. Superb ability but maybe just too small to be in with the big heavyweights. Chisora hit him far too easy and he's just an average journeyman and not too big. I'm sure there will be some up coming heavyweights that will cause AJ and Fury problems, I'm just not sure they are where they need ot be yet, or will be for another 2 years.

It's a funny one, watching the fight live I wasn't so sure how good the performance was. Then when I watched it again I was very impressed with it. Chisora wasn't actually landing anything of note, everything was hitting Usyk's gloves and shoulders. Considering Usyk's last competitive fight had been 2 years earlier, it was a mightily impressive after also been out of the ring for a year. I think being small can work to his advantage. Fury and AJ tend both to struggle against smaller opponents.

To me regardless of who you 'support' to give anything but respect to Fury and AJ does a disservice to British boxing.

This is the opportunity to witness without a shadow of a doubt the biggest British boxing contest in modern history if not history.

1 and 2 baddest men on the planet (let's pretend the UFC doesn't exist for a second because let's be honest they're even scarier human beings) where both fighters have paths to victory. Let's just embrace it and really get behind the event... In Abu Dhabi 🤣

👍 good post, Im a fan of and support both fighters because they are Brits, if they meet and I really hope they do, I don’t care who wins. Though I expect Fury to win.
I just think AJ seems to get a lot of unfair sh1t thrown at him from armchair fans who repeat rubbish they’ve read elsewhere without looking at the facts.

Usyk is a wildcard and very talented and i'd like to see him up against the likes of Joyce, Povetkin, Whyte even Wilder, before Joshua and Fury.

He was in control against Chisora but not sure he'd have enough power to trouble the top of the division.

I think pretty much the same, he would also lose his reach advantage against the bigger heavyweights which would hinder him a lot.
