Wasn’t Tony Mowbray after him while he was here.. on loan from Man Utd 2010 maybe? Still I’ve heard him linked in recent years again and thought it was strange.. why are we linked with him and not Sunderland.. especially with the recent alleged interest in Ross Stewart?

Are these rumours like the flak/flares from top gun? These names pop up to take the heat away from the REAL STORY

To be honest newwy I can't recall Joshua King...at all ...when he was at Bournemouth can't remember his name standing out.
I'll wait and see what happens.
What's his style ..ideal position...

I remember him being pacy and one of them that can play anywhere across the front.. creative, chance creator.. 5 goals in 32 for Watford in the prem 21/22 season

4 in 16 super lig for Fenerbache last season.

31yo.. can’t see it really.. unless we’re talking about a last minute replacement for Chuba should some other deal have collapsed..
 
As a side note..

Paddy McNair was linked with Luton.. I wonder if that impacted on our ability to sign Ryan Giles if we were interested at all.

Lois Openda was rumoured to be moving from Lens to Villa he signed for RB Leipzig on the 14th July..

I wonder if that could have had anything to do with Archer and Ramsey?

It is and it isn’t.

Good player for the now, but 2.5m for a 31 year old and that will likely lead to a 3 year contract on big wages. Probably 6m+ in total if they get relegated then that’s burning money. I think for them, this isn’t a smart move in the long term
 
Have they got someone tailing Scott? 👀

To be fair, would of been a decent ish option, didn’t excite me but didn’t have me reaching for the razor blades either.
