I got to agree. there's a big difference between the Jose in charge of Chelsea first time around and Inter Milan, compared to the Jose in charge of Real Madrid, Chelsea second stint, Utd & Spurs.

Even though he won trophies at Madrid, I think his time there was burned because of the fact Pep & Barcelona more often than not got the better of him and Real Madrid, whilst playing much, much better football....and his main aim at Real Madrid was clearly to deliver the CL in which he ultimately failed to win.

I think since then he's been a shadow of his former self and his methods and ways just aren't as effective nowadays.

I don't see a top English club taking him on anytime soon. I think he'll have to go back abroad to get a big job....that's assuming a big club gives him another opportunity.

He was binned because of results....and it's hard to argue against it looking at their form since Nov? Dec?....not to mention murmurs of players unhappy/unrest with Jose behind the scenes...something that seems to follow him everywhere he goes.

Did anyone watch the All or Nothing documentary? It was a revealing insight into his man management skills. Overtly a genial funny man but behind the scenes a character full of his own importance and totally inconsistent in his moods. It is no wonder players don’t know where they stand particularly when they go through form dips.

After the meeting with Danny Rose there was a scene where he reported back to Levy. You could detect an air of frostiness between the two even then. Levy appeared to be treading on egg shells in his conversations with him. A difficult prickly character and one which seems to be his undoing.
